What is Lightfern?

Lightfern is a browser extension that helps you write emails faster and better. Once installed, it works directly in your email client, providing intelligent suggestions as you type.

Ultracomplete

Whenever you're drafting or replying to an email, Lightfern will suggest text as you're typing.

• Press Tab to accept ultracomplete suggestions.
• Press → to accept a single word.

Inline chat

You can use inline chat to get feedback on your current draft, summarize emails, or ask questions. It sees what you see, so there's no need to paste any emails or drafts into the chat window.

• Press the inline chat shortcut within Gmail to open the inline chat window.

I've connected my Google account but it's not working.

Ensure that you're signed into Lightfern and you've granted all permissions to Lightfern. If it's still not working, refresh the Gmail tab.

Is Lightfern free?

Lightfern is currently in beta and will remain free during the beta period. We will let you know in advance before we charge anything.

What email platforms does Lightfern support?

Lightfern currently works with Gmail. Support for Outlook is coming soon.
